Anxiety is a fear based condition, which many people suffer from. Anxiety can be triggered in a number of ways, certain past events in someone’s life may make them feel anxious about the future, the anticipation of specific events like exams, a job interview or their health. There may be a family history of anxiety which affects how a person reacts to certain situations. Anxiety which has been left untreated may impact a persons life in many ways. They may not be able to go to work or school, have trouble with building relationships and being in social situations, they may also feel the need to avoid certain situations which trigger their anxiety, meaning they may isolate themselves. This can become debilitating as it starts to control and limit a person’s lifestyle, which in turn makes them more anxious and in some cases can even lead to panic attacks.
